Steve Young is a repentant former U.S. Marine who used his ill-gotten skills to help train and defend various neighborhood groups this winter. He is a former attorney and neighborhood grocery store owner, and a father of two (#dancedad). Steve will not rest until the Whipple concentration camp is emptied and closed, and our neighbors are returned to their families.
Jane Kirby is a midwife and works for the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet. Jane has been a long-time advocate for food justice, human rights, and animal rights. She is a tireless fighter for every creature in her community. As Lt. Governor, she will fight for racial and gender justice, reparations, and Land Back Policies.
I know that the governor can't technically abolish ICE, but I can make their lives miserable while they're in our state.
We all keep all of us safe. We spent this winter defending our neighbors with both hands tied behind our backs. Elect me for Governor, and I will make sure that the collaborative world we witnessed this winter can be born.
You don't want them. We don't need them. The neighborhood doesn't need the extra noise. The earth doesn't need the extra heat. Just Say No!
We need to know who is or was complicit in Operation Metro Surge, and other law enforcement overreaches, so we can ensure that those individuals don't affect policy going forward.
We have a world to save! We cannot afford to put off the many climate change mitigation and preparation that we need to do. Let's work together to save the future!
We deserve a Governor who knows that the 30,000 Constitutional Observers are comrades, not competitors. We deserve a Governor who knows what it's like to stand up for neighbors in the sub-zero temperatures. We deserve a governor who doesn't have a history of funding the Occupation of Palestine or the Occupation of Minneapolis.
Years ago, many of our local farmers avoided becoming Factory Farms. Together we will help those who fell for the corporate temptation to take the land back and grow food sustainably.
I refuse to accept that we throw out extra food, yet have people going hungry. I will break a boot off in the corporate grocers whose greed leads to waste and empty stomachs.
Am I the only one who thinks it's nuts that our government is "fighting fraud" with the same freaks who have turned the Whipple Building into a part of the Trump regime's network of concentration camps? I suppose fraud is a problem, but it's definitely committed more often by the wealthy than the rest of us, and I certainly don't trust the feds to deal with it. Of course we'll fight fraud; by removing the reasons to commit fraud. UBI, M4A, jobs jobs and more jobs! When people are living secure lives, they will not look for unethical ways to get ahead of one another. After that, those that continue to bend and break the rules to get ahead will be dealt with (especially if they are government employees who bankrupt our cities with their supposed overtime).
Have questions or suggestions? I would love to hear from you!
